No Dennis, no I didn't ... but because you brought it up, I may decide to take them out of the stock cube / bottom end H/C/I [our classification] myself

Nice ...ironically, you and Dennis are both currently the 2nd quickest NA heads & cam cars among the 5.7L and 6.0L (and even 6.2L) engined late model Corvettes and you also both have that little 'extra' riding in the back hatch for that 'just in case' scenario LOL.
Looks like you both could be spraying deep into the 9s eventually.
honestly Rob i don't surf out of c6 much, i thought you always had me covered with a 10.22, and i just did congratulate you thanks for the heads up
Honestly Dennis, I normally don't surf outside of here much either but, when someone breaks a corvette record, I tend to sway and say something nice in their thread, even if it's a simple ... You have been spending a lot of time here in the C-5 section lately ... I'm surprised you aren't paying any attention to the posts. thanks for the heartfelt congratulations ... it really meant a lot!
Yes true, but that's a tough call as it's not a true apples to apples comparison either...if Dennis's car had the same level of weight reduction (he still had air conditioning, carpeting, interior panels, cats etc.) I think his car could've possibly gone 10.4s, but that's strictly speculative of course.
3800 stall versus 4000+, 3.73s versus 3.90s as well etc.
Either way though, Ron's C5 still falls under the label/category of 'stock internals' and it did do something that no other C5 has done before nor maybe ever will.
True, was wondering how he got to be so light lol...not taking away from anyones accomplishments though

You must be talking about Robz and stanger383, sorry for the hijack OP
seriously .... I mean SERIOUSLY - this coming from the guy who couldn't even give a congrats on my 10.22 run
Well in all fairness Rob, I get the impression that Dennis didn't even see the thread (about your awesome new best ) as it was already pretty far down the page until this morning.
He always compliments people on their new bests when he sees them posted, especially one as spectacular as yours.

Yes, those are the two #1s that I was referring to.
I think we can all agree that both Rob (Hot Wheels) and Dennis have their respective works cut out for them if they're going to catch that 9.98 (robz) and 10.15 (stanger383)...but it is possible.
And yes, my apologies to Ron about the constant off topic/thread jacking but at least we're helping keep his thread alive and at the top for a little bit longer as well.
