This one was a friend's 19k original car they blew apart to refurbish. I think it went for $1.7 million when it went at R&M in Scottsdale in 2010. It's an automatic. You can see two of his 442 W-30 convert 4 speed cars right behind. He had 4.

I am open minded...I don't just love Corvettes! This is my Backdraft Cobra, factory built in South Africa and shipped here without the naughty bits so it is not a car. One engine and transmission later, suddenly it's 1966!

I'm 6'4" tall. Would I fit in that Cobra? I was eyeing Factory 5 stuff a long while back and just never pulled the trigger. My C3 was tiny! C5? All good!

The original Cobra's were tiny. The Backdraft added a few inches to the wheelbase and dropped the footbox to give the taller folks a chance to enjoy the Cobra. You probably won't fit in a Factory Five, but you should be ok with the Backdraft. If you are ever in Missouri I will give you a ride! It is big fun.
