Default Zr1 front splitter

I just got a zr1 spoiler to go on my 2007 c6 base model and was wondering how to install it. It seems like its not wide enough. I cant seem to find a video or instructions on how to install it.

Spoiler or Splitter? Two different things.

For the front splitter I just lined up the ends with the front of the wheel openings on the fenders while supporting the center with a box. When the ends of the splitter are flush with the fender openings secure both ends with self tapping screws then raise the center of the splitter into position and secure that with a screw then work your way around from the center to each end with more screws.
Here's how it should look when mounted properly.

The above photo looks odd. Its tucked too far under and points downwards.

IIRC you have to buy a specific ZR1 clone splitter for the base model, as the front bumpers are different. Could this be the issue?

It looks like it in that picture but it actually doesn't point downwards.

If you are in fact, asking about the splitter, the ZR1 splitter is not compatible with the base C6.

Aftermarket ZR1 splitter is compatible with base C6. See my picture right above your post. I got it from RPI.

There is a difference between an actual ZR1 splitter and a ZR1 style splitter. If OP purchased a real ZR1 splitter, then I guess it won't work.

The next question is...is it a splitter as in the subect title or a spoiler as in the message body?

I know there's a difference. One will fit a base C6 and one won't.

It's actually a splitter. I was in the middle of messing with my spoiler while I was typing. But I bought this and in the description it says it was for base models. EVRose I'll try your idea and let you know. Thanks for the replys
