I do not need to do any MODS right now but would Love to come and help.... I am very mechanically inclined.

I can be there Friday night and Saturday if you need help.

Let me know or email me.....Sounds like a whole lot of fun.

Rdrunnur - glad to have another skilled hand to guide me/us!

Robert - do you happen to have a drill press or a die grinder in that "garage" of yours?

Once we test fit friday night, I have a strong feeling Ill need to cut off my choke tower for clearance. (who needs a choke anyway!!)
2 home methods would be the grinder - or a drill press with a cutting wheel bit will work great too!! I will bring my dremel and cutting wheels just in case...

Thanks!
Mike

Ground rules.
- For those needing help... Bring beer! Food !!
- Corvettes only. Other cars need to pay the shop rate of $278.00 per hour.
- Finally, Please make sure you clean up!!

I have enough OFF street parking for everyone.

There are one or two people that need to pull the manifold. They might want to come by the night before and pull it off and put it back on so it can dry overnight or wait until late Saturday and finish the car Sunday morning…
Do you have a lift? I would really love to hoist my C5 and see if we can figure out why one of the Corsa mufflers is lower than the other??????

Yeah I know. I was home a week after I got back from my last trip and am in Hong Kong right now. After this trip I 'should' be around for the next month or so. I'll contact you when I get back to schedule a time to get my car in the air to find a rattle. I think I need to tighten down the exhaust.

Guys
Sorry but it looks like I am going to have to bow out for this weekend. I was really hoping to get together and meet some of the local folks, learn some more about my car and get some help on some small projects.

BUT....wedding and fiance take precedence given a few short weeks left.
If something changes, I will let you know but for now, I am out.
Sorry and good luck to everyone.

I would but that is the night I am leaving for New Orleans for a long weekend for my bachelor party.

Oh well, hopefully there will be many more events this summer. Sucks, though, because I could really use some help with the new distributor.

Tell the wife that corvettes are more important. She will understand.

I keep trying to tell the hub that, too, but he doesn't buy it, either.

Default I think you missed it!

He's leaving for a long weekend in New Orleans for his Bachelor's Party. Accordingly, he doesn't have a wife, just a fiancee'. He needs to ensure that once he gets married that he gets his "Corvette Time" with the boys (and girls).

Of course, what do I know, I've been divorced twice. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/newreply.php#
