I think Bluewasp probably meant 'future wife' but yeah, you're right, he's gotta break her in gently on the whole Corvette thing, if he hasn't already.

Before she and I met, I was a member of the Audi club as well. I have actually hosted quite a few events over the years and she has even grilled / cooked for us (she trained as a chef in Europe).
So, in general, she is very understanding.
The Corvette club is relatively new for us since we only bought the car last summer but she is learning.

From: Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I'm gonna be in Vegas this weekend. Maybe I'll give y'all a buzz on Saturday. I figure by that point, chances are I'm going to either need bail or someone to break it to Colleen that my new wife and I ain't commin back. Sorry I'm gonna miss it. Have fun.

Robert - whats the headcount? we gonna drink some beers Friday night too?
Ive got all my stuff packed up - shouldnt be too hard to tear down.
Have you ever taken a carburator apart? I think we will have to separate the air horn from the bowl and take the dremel to it (the cutting will be the easy part)
I have Lars' instructions and the Haynes manual which both gove details on how to tear down a Qjet - and we're only going to hit a few of the first steps...

I've never taken a carb apart. Learn something new everyday...
I really don't drink that much beer.... I have some here, not a problem.

I'm having Curry's auto over here in Chantilly take a look at it. They called me after they had it for about an hour and asked questions so I s'pose the troubleshooting is underway. I hope they come up with something good tomorrow morning because I'm heading to the beach at 1:30PM and I'd love to take a nice fully-functioning corvette; not a crappy 240sx.
