I want to close the registration the week of the 20th, if we fill up before then all we can do is put folks on a waiting list.

Mike I spoke with Tom about this the other day and will not know for sure about if I can attend until about a week before due to the closing on my new house. When would I know if I could actually compete in the race for sure (in other words) if I don't register by the 20th then do I still have a chance to race or am I just S.O.L?

Hey Mike, I think we're coming up with some of the guys. What would be a good time to show up on Friday? Will we be able to walk the course Friday night?

Tom

I will be at the site around noon, the course will be ready for walking from around 4 to 7.

We will also open tech from 4 to 7, trailers can be left at the site Friday night.

The site is locked at night and is under constant police patrol while we are there.

For you guys that think traveling 2 hours for an event is to far, we now have folks coming from as far away as Fort Worth Texas, Tampa FL, Elkhart IN, and Cleveland OH.

Tom,

You would be in IIE.

Looking forward to seeing your gang in Sanford.

An LT-1 isn't in "E". Correct me if I am wrong, but an LT-1 is in "G".

There is nothing slow about a group II car if it is in E or G. Hang on and drive.

I love this place as this is where I got hooked on this stuff last year. Now my wife thinks I've gone off the deep end with no life jacket.

You're correct Ed, I was just trying to get at least one car in IIE that I had even a slim chance to beat, now you have gone and ruined this for me

I have watched Tom drive, he is very competative, even for a retired Air Force guy

Oops, sorry about that Mike. I just didn't want him in my class because I can't keep up with you and Terry as it is. I don't need another car in front of me.

Your next assignment is to get your wife in the drivers seat and get her hooked on this also.

Instead of only planning on one day at Sanford, you need to do all three days. Then, you will be truly hooked

Wow! Thanks for the compliment. So, I'm in IIG for sure? I'm cutting some numbers for the Vette and want to be sure before I do it. BTW, let's keep the record straight, Mike kicked my butt the last time we auto-Xed together. You need a calendar to see how much he beat me by, not a timer.
