Default New Coordinates!!!!!

Just spoke to Chris and he is nowhere near the Ferris Wheel as we had planned.

If you come through the old turn 4 tunnel you will take your second possible left and see him there. He said it's very near turn 4.

Good luck and call if you're lost.

Hey Chris,
Thanks for hosting. I enjoyed meeting several of you who were there. Sorry I didn't make it back this morning. I ended up going to a friend's place after I left the track and we kind of slept in this morning.
And, I forgot, this is one of the few places where I registered before I picked out my SN of C5R UZR. I should ask a Mod to get it changed, but until then, this is me.
Have a good one and if you're ever in Daytona, gimme a shout,
Steven

We had phenomenal weather, as many of you witnessed or saw on the Speed coverage. It was very uncharacteristic for the Rolex to have it be so nice and sunny, and I wish more forum members could've made it out to join us.

I've put a few of my pics together on a web page, and dialup users should be cautioned against clicking the thumbnails, since several of the pictures are quite large. Jim's Rolex Pics

Many thanks to Chris for setting up a place for us and for his efforts in trying to talk the Security guys into letting the Jax crew through the tunnel. Even though this was unsuccessful, waiting at the Wing House probably wasn't so bad.

Warm sun, cool breezes, cold beer, hot burgers and steaks, and a safe place to park - what more could you ask for!

It was good to meet some of you - it looks like I missed quite a few of you guys. Talked to Chris on the phone - that must count for something. My buddy there had his leg in a cast so he was mobile impaired and we were parking in the Grassroots area.

It was a great, great time.
