Great story John! I would love to have been there. LOL Ok ok ok, for those that don’t know I am “B3”. I should have known that I would never live that one down. I enlarged the mount holes and replaced the severed bolt and the bolt on the other side with stronger larger ones! That was a great day. It sounds to me that we have enough people to start a small but fun Fred Vegas Vette club. All those in favor of John aka LJD51 as president…

Tell Cheryl that next time she needs to get her neighbor with the Viper to come out. He can bring backup vipers if needed. That could get fun fast! Pun intended!

I'll tell her! We'll be cruising down her way in May, maybe we can all get together and cruise somewhere....her neighbor included!

We should seriously get a "club" together in the F'burg area. Let's face it, the drive up north for the NOVA club is a hike, and most folks have to go up there during the week... Need something local and convenient to us... Well, you guys, I drive a porsche now, but would tag along...

Not sure how to go about forming a club, but I guess we could get some hints from some of the other club officials...

BTW: When is the spring MK cruise? Still bummed we couldn't do the Fall cruise because of the weather.

Work! What is that? I come an hour north just to get away and relax. Getting a pay check is nice though. LOL

Mike
We could call the Fred Vegas club the Vette and one Porsch club or something like that. How have you been? Long time no talk. I am out you way (3 and 20) most weekends now playing on my new toy. I should swing by sometime, I will bring the beer.

As for the club... lets go President! Get-R-Done! Spring is upon us!

I agree we need a group in the Fredericksburg area. Granted Aquia isn't that far for those in Fredericksburg and Stafford but for those of us from say Carmel Church to Fredericksburg or down towards King George and Dalhgren it is a pretty good trip and going down to Richmond isn't much more appealing.

I propose that we have a Sunday brunch at a local eatery on March 25th to come up with a concept for forming a club.

I will contact a local restaurant with lots of open parking about a reservation at say 8:30-9:00.

Let me know who will be there. I will start the list:

Way to go Mr. Prez already two people can’t make it at the time you picked! We may impeach you before you even get elected.
I will be at a soccer tournament in Woodbridge the 24th – 25th. How about a linner (lunch/dinner) instead of a brunch? Just a thought. Although I am not sure what time I will be back in town? Depends if the kids make it to the championship game or not.

Alrighty then...How about we split the difference and go for a Wednesday night? Either March 21st or 28th around 6:30. Let me know your preference and the majority decides which day.

We put an ad in the local newspaper to see if anyone was interested......stating that it was going to be a mostly social club. There were just a few of us for the longest time, but now we have about 30 members, and growing......
What's the MK cruise?

Both dates look ok at this point but I may be late closer to 7:00.
