Hampton Roads Photo Shoot

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Just let me know the day before. Hope you can make it!
Post up if you have any ideas.
I am the photographer that will be shooting your cars and have been talking to Tommy but just wanted to touch base with you all and answer any questions or concerns you might have.
First off, I shoot digitally with all Canon gear. I have a wide assortment of canon lenses to go with my bodies, anything from a fisheye/ultra wide all the way up to a 400mm telephoto. I have been shooting for 12 years and started shooting professionally for 5 years now. While living in Wisconsin I shot the Oshgosh fly-in and had several photos published in magazines with one cover shot also. I also shot several car/bike club while I was up there and love all types of cars.
What I am thinking for this shoot is to do a group shot, if wanted, first and then roll into the solo shoots with and without the owners. If there is anything specific you would want, please let me know now or the day of the shoot so I can have a list handy this way everyone walks away happy, that is what I am looking for. then we can go into the rolling shot. The rolling shots I usually hang out of a car, or the back of the truck to do BUT I might try something different this time, I have to test it out first. One plan is to stick a flash in the passenger seat with you as you drive so we can get you in the photo driving. I am alittle worried about doing this as you are driving as I have done it with cars standing still and it looks good but it is a different story rolling down the road!! I will leave that option up to you guys.
I am pretty much up to any of your suggestions and easy to get along with. As of right now I do intend on bringing another shooter that I work with as he is learning photography and I would like to have him observe me and even shoot some photos.
Any questions can be directed here or you can email me at robert@kenskiphoto.com. You can also visit my website www.kenskiphoto.com to view some photos. The website isn't complete and I actually was trying to finish it before spring/summer as that is when I get busy but it didn't happen. More photos will be going up shortly also.
Thanks, and I look forward working with you guys!

Not yet, I am waiting on parts again. All I have to do now is the vacuum lines and rewire some sensors, almost done. Working 12 hour shifts now, no time to work on the Vette for a few days. I am hoping to fire it up Thursday and have it on the road Friday (hoodless).
If I can get the new hood painted by the 13th I will join the photo shoot.
