Some fun-time .....
Heading to the NCM this coming summer with my lad - and am wondering what things to do at the NCM' and, what other adventures might be in reasonably close proximity to take in while we're in that region of the country ???
Looking for input from those how have 1st hand experience preferably.
Feel free to PM if you want - not sure where this post would have been best posted; but, since most everyone here seems to be a bit lenient on the rules here it is .....

Did the Caravan with the New England group there this past summmer. Awesome time.
Hope you are driving the Vette down. Not sure how long you will be there, but check out the distilleries, caverns (Lost River was cool), rolling countrysides. See the museum, new motorsport track and definately take a plant tour. An hour away is Nashville and the Grand Ole' Opre (nice day trip). On your way home, head southeast and drive through The Tail of The Dragon (Route 129, Robbinsville, NC). You will not regret it. You can head home from there through Asheville, NC and up I-81.
