yeah, that's the one, Ed...
it's an 1/8th, but will still be fun, i plan to go to richmond soon for the 1/4 (i think that's the closest 1/4 mile) but that requires more planning and is a long drive for a fri night.
wanna go?
Sonny,
Virginia Motorsports Park is probably closer for a 1/4 mile track, but Richmond has less cars as is cheaper!
Here is a link to both. http://www.virginiamotorsportspk.com/ http://www.richmonddragway.com/
The 1/8 mile track is suppose to be  , but Richmond is only 50 miles for me.
I usually put together a Fall drag day, we will see in November........... :D
Hey actually drag raced a couple times.... I cut a pretty good light if I may say so.
Check my sig for the times. And that was with car 100% stock. Well, OK, I did have a K&N, but still......

Nah Steve, I'm just saying that since Ed wears cammies every day he should know all about trees. :D :D
To get there is pretty easy. You'd take I-64 West to the Richmond International Airport exit. Go straight through the airport til you can't go any further. You have to make a left or a right. Make a left on Charles Road (I'm pretty sure it's Charles Road). Then go past the runways on your left, and make your first left on Portugee Road. The track is on the right...can't miss it.
