3) Remove left front wheelwell

Old injury that was aggravated last year climbing in Utah. Just decided to get it fixed.
But I'm not sure I want to buy the NGKs, since they're a product of Japan.
I like your sense of patriotism; however, for myself, I would prefer to support Japan versus our "friends" in Germany. However, that’s just me. As for the plug, I have heard nothing bad about it, and I believe Bosch plugs are made with a solid platinum core electrode versus a soldered puck as used in NGK and Delco.
As for Dyno day, seeing that it is the 10th, I might just drive out and say hello. My operation is scheduled for the 13th, and since I won't be able to take the Vette for a cruise for two weeks after the operation, I should run it the weekend before...if weather permits.

I play "Follow the Wages". If the plugs are made in a plant here in the USA, then they're fine. Looks like NGK has North American facilities, just need to find out where the TR55IX's come from...:D
F'r instance, Mike up there works for Nissan, but they've invested heavily in Tennessee and pay a lot of wages here. Doesn't mean they have a product I'll buy, but it's a theoretical possibility.

Did not know NGK had a plant in the US; that's good news. I have NGKs in my car, and the idle smoothed out when I changed them; however, I also changed the wires at the same time, so what smoothed out the idle is up to debate. The Delcos looked ok when I removed them at 18K; pucks were all attached.
I will say it takes longer to remove the rear left plug than all the other plugs combined. The biggest problem I had with the plug was I could not see the hole, to install the new plug. Pretty much a blind operation.
Anyone here know of anyone who wants a stock 2003 C5 exhaust (H-pipe back)? Pipes were cut just over the axle to remove, however, a sleeve can be installed to reinstall the pipes. Mufflers could use another coat of black paint since the existing paint is fading. They are free to anyone who wants them; otherwise, they are headed for the dumpster in a few weeks.
