Default MCV - Dyno day.

Would anyone be interested in getting together for a dyno day in Smyrna? I'll bet we can work out a deal with Chris if we get several interested. Performance garage specializes in work on vettes for all kinds of work including alignments (best anywhere). Personally, I need to get another pull before I do a little LT4 edit tuning.

Update: when- 1/10/04, 10:00AM
where- Performance Garage in Smyrna
how much- $70 for 4 pulls, $75 for 5

Mike, I know you said this month is a little full for you so when might be a good time for you? Chris usually works elsewhere during the day but we could probably get him for the weekend if enough want to try it.

The weekend of 1/10 would work fine for me. No plans there yet.

I'd probably be in as well, if it's on a Saturday.

Always want to know what the car will do, before I start meddling.

Is the shop temp-controlled? Would hate to muddle things by sucking in cold January air (SAE corrections are just guesses using equations, I understand those equations, therefore I don't trust them!) and then going back in July...

I'm in! I've just about got mine dialed in with LT1-edit and a couple runs would help finish it up.

I'm out, although I would be curious. January is a bad month, moving at the end, and have a knee operation on the 13th. A lot of packing to do before I'm put on crutches.
I might even have a moving party, but different than Adam's moving party. For this one, bring a lawn chair (lawn chair in January...that could be cold), and we watch the movers move everything but the spray cans. :lolg:

I'll check with Chris for what might work with him on Saturdays in Jan. Any particular weekend that would not work for anyone else?

I would like to come along and watch....I really don't see a need to do the dyno as I leave everything stock.

I'd rather not do it on the 13th, I'm planning on being in Chattanooga. But if the 13th comes up, I can probably be there.

Well, guys, I still have not heard from Chris as of yet. I will try again tomorrow.

Nathan, look forward to meeting you and lunch or dinner would be great. There is a Logan's (I think) just down the road that would be a fun place for us all to throw peanut shells on the floor.

Bryan, I am impressed....368RWHP! I have to get my LT4 edit on order pronto!!

Doug, long time no see! What have you done to yourself?! Good luck with the surgery, cuz.

Mike, no 3rd or 4th....roger.

Steve, you can come along if you bring Phyllis...... :)

Matt, I am going to try for the weekend of the 10th, Jan.

Nash, come on along. I don't know if you have met the others but we are really quite an amiable bunch.

I'll update when information gets refreshed.

Oh damn...

Okay, how much are you going to charge to 'rent' the laptop? Or is it like the Predator and will only work on one car? :D

I got in touch with Chris and he would be available for us on the 10th. Jan. His rate is $75 per car for 5 pulls. It really does take several pulls to get the on board computer corrections sorted out since it has adaptive learning. I saw an increase of 4 to 5 hp on some subsequent pulls last time.

What do y'all think? Should we make a day of it? Welcome Chris. Sounds like you have some interesting mods on the vette. It would be good to meet you. We have a pretty good group, very informal, but pretty good!
