Default Biltmore Cruise

I haven't been on the Forum for a while, so I wondered if there has been any mention of a cruise to the Biltmore Estate again this year. Really enjoyed it last year and would like to make the whole weekend if it's happening again. Thanks

Default Biltmore Cruise

I've got the entire club on standby waiting to hear if it's going on again this year, we tried to organize our own trip to the Biltmore house but it just didn't work out, then I found out about the Biltmore house trip and we all wanted to try and make it this year.

I noticed the web site biltmorecruise.com isn't available anymore, it had last years information on it but was never updated.

If anyone hears about it please let me know, we're waiting with Keys in hand!!!

I think it is the weekend of Nov 12-14. I have cousins in Wilmington, NC that told me about it and I have it marked in my calendar. Will try to get more info and post. We are planning to go.

We'd be interested in going again. We could caravan again Sonny. This time without all the problems.

I sent John an e-mail asking him if he was the right contact and if he had any additional information. I'll post again if I get any info on the cruise.

Everybody,

I emailed John last nite and he told me that the cruise was being rescheduled for the spring around March. He will try to inform everyone of a solid date soon as possible. So that is the latest.

Thanks for the update Bill.

I'm going to continue checking around and see if anyone knows about it.

If the "big" Biltmore Cruise doesn't happen I may try and schedule something for my club but it of course would be on a much smaller scale. I'll post some more information here if I can get something together and maybe we can get some more people from other clubs to join in as well. Most likely it will be later in November, I tentatively put it on our Calendar for the weekend of November 12-14th which I think is the first weekend of the Christmas decorations.

Thanks everyone!!!

I am in the same club as Sleekun. I have never seen Biltmore at x-mas time and have lived in the Carolina's 13 years. So I am intested in going. And then there is the Dragons run too

To keep up with any of the PSP events you can always check the website at www.peachstateposse.com there is a forum and calendar where events such as Biltmore Cruise are posted.

For those of you that were at Biltmore last year take a look the following:

A co-worker's friend shot these photos (I have cleaned them up as best I could). It is a shame if you had never been up to see the area and we hope all in the town and area are safe.

(If you have dialup be aware the photos can take a while to load.)

http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/...55&uid=1383338

If you have trouble opening the album, please let me know. I didn't want to post all 15 pictures here as to not hinder the dialup folks.

You can see photos from Hurricane Ivan and what it did to Weastern NC here as well:
http://www.citizen-times.com/

I haven't seen any photos of the Biltmore entrance from Ivan but I heard it was just as bad and all the shops in the Biltmore Village were flooded again as well.

Last weekend I was up there and they already had the streets open and people driving around after Francis, hopefully this time it will be a speedy recovery as well.....especially since I'm getting married in Asheville in 2 weeks!!! (If only she let me invite everyone I wanted....I would have posted it on the corvette forum and had a carivan!
