From: Manchester - Political correctness is tyranny with manners.
Guys, the reason that this has not happened, is because our exalted leader, Troy Roberts, has not done it. I have requested, PM'd, and begged ad naseum, but he didn't even bother to respond. I suggest that you guys PM him at the very least or post requests in the Steering Comittee section to try to make this happen. I don't understand why this hasn't happend, but I have done what I can do. Good luck. DS98

Interesting how this sticky poll is all of a sudden in the general threads on it's way to oblivion. No action taken and apparently, none intended. And all, without explanation. Thanks Troy.

We need 4 sections.....PNW (obviously would include OR, WA, ID), NoCal, SoCal, and Regional. Regional would be sorta of a "Gen" section that includes Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Montana, etc.....as well as any inter-regional events.
No diss on the Hawaii, Alaska, Nevada, Montana folks......but there's almost never any posts for those regions anyways.
Troy, the results are in...Please split the west coast at the very least into North West states and California. I have to sift through SO MUCH California stuff to find Oregon and Washington. Were a BIG area out here in the West!
Thanks
Jennifer

And well it should.....don't any of you people look at the big picture .....this section is next to the smallest section "in posts" of all of the US and 160 or so folks want it divided.....selfish and narrow minded. What about every large city on the east coast they're finding all the events and not complaining. This is just hey look at us driven....
I would agree, except for the fact the original question that started this thread was posed by the site owner...not one of the "selfish" members at-large.

I'll agree to agree ............and here's my except....Troy owns this sight and can do as he sees fit. He shows great compassion in everything that I've seen and at times is taken advantage of as this would be IMO. The un-selfish would realize this
IMO, Troy has the answer he was looking for so there is no reason to post negative things about each other on this thread. If Troy wants to make changes to this site he will. Peace out!!

That could very well be the case. However, since he posed the question....I don't think it's to much to ask or even expect that he make public his decision and give a short rationale for that decision since the results of the poll (from those who did respond) seem to indicate an obvious preference. I think all people are asking is "is this still on the table or not"....and if so....is there a timetable.
And if Troy is too busy....there are plenty of other Mods that could relay Troy's message.
