Did you guys get the email from SV. Anybody want to run GREEN instead of RED ????
Hello, Red Group Drivers.
Just a quick note to say that the Red Group for Saturday is essentially full (over 30 cars). We are also running a Green Group that day which is currently at 14 cars. Green Group is for advanced drivers and features "combined" passing rules. This means open passing of all cars except those with an orange tape "X" marked on the rear. Those cars require a point-by for passing. Typically, only a handful of cars in the Green Group use the orange X so in most respects, the Green Group functions like a second Red Group.
If you're willing to switch into the far less crowded Green Group, please email me back.

Aaron often takes down the driver list from his website a few days to a week before the event, especially if the event is looking like it is starting to fill up. He does this because he thinks that if people see a long driver list, they will think there's a lot of traffic or the event will sell out, and so he thinks it scares more drivers away from signing up at the last minute.
