Hey Everyone,
I've never hung with this group before and my girlfriend and I are the ones who are in our mid thirties, so it will be nice to meet up with everyone and get to know people. Were easy to get along with and like to drink and eat and drive (not in that order!) with everyone.
Whitney Portal is beautiful and they have a cool store/restaurant where we park. I hiked Whitney in 2006.
Doug - We will be in Pearsonville around 10 Am if were leaving Pasadena around 7:15 and its around 155 miles...
Also we got a room in the new section of the Dow Villa!
Lastly my new baby (Z06 Beast) has a rough paintjob so any suggestions on restoring her at the cheapest possible price would be great.

ROGER Copy last .. Arrive point of embark @ aprox 0730 HR. |Embark 0800 HR. from that 20. Arrive 2nd embark aprox 0930 HR. Arrive Final dest. aprox 1400 HR. Avg. speed aprox 160 RPM. 10-4 Roger that ... over under down & out!

I wish all of you a great trip and I wish I was going with you too. I do have good news about my Corvette, I believe I have found an opportunity that will allow me to keep my car for the rest of the year! I will know for sure very soon so I'm really happy. I will be able to go on runs all summer with the top down, Yeah!!!

We had a great drive up today and spent a few hours up at the whitney portals. came back down for a good pizza dinner at the pizza factory and then off to the lone pine film institute museum and a couple of episodes of the Lone Ranger. Lone Ranger was filmed here in lone pine way back in the 50's.
Tomorrow is off to death valley so stay tuned for some great pics of scottys castle and the furnace creek area.
