Kent posted this awhile back (Our next thread will be number 53,,,,that is way over 60,000 posts counting our marathon first thread! Damn I have had a ball with all of you! Thanks!)
He is right as we had either a double number or a missed thread start number quite awhile back, so I believe this is 53
Kent, the engine looks hot! Your car is nicer than you give credit for.
Paul, the wheels look sweet.
Jim, sooo, what's the new toy?
Smooth, car looks fantastic. Keep the pics coming.
Bryan, it's too bad you had to sell. Your car is beautiful, someone is getting a deal of a lifetime. Hopefully you'll still make some of the vette nights or events.
Looking for a cleartastic installer anyone had it done locally???
Donny and I got XPEL protection at LSCC last year and I am happy with it. There is a shop in edmond that I was going to have add more plastic to my car- but hvent yet. Search XPEL Oklahoma city.

I really do appreciate your help and insight. I have thought about buying hp tuners....but I have heard that it has a long learning curve. I don't think it would be too big of deal but I am not a tuner either my mods are
ported fast 92 manifold
ported ls2 tb
kooks 1 7/8 headers
kooks x pipe offroad
85mm maf
bosh III ls1 injectors 36 flow rate at 58psi
ECS mai orders are 139 I did install a wideband so I could at least check my afr w/o a dyno tune. Actually the pcm is Delco remanufactured unit so it may not need a relearn on the crank sensor? The local tuner says it really needs a dyno...but I need to replace my master cylinder to the tick m/c that I purchased. After the header install I am getting the pedal sticking to the floor at wot...not extremely bad yet, so I hope my clutch is fine. I really don't want to get a dyno until I get all the kinks worked out and the new m/c installed.
From what I can see here, the biggest issue will be having the right fuel injector data so that they scale correctly. After that, scale the TB up to the new size, do a TPS relearn, and either copy the MAF data or recurve it using the wideband. From there, adjust the VE a bit to increase fueling and it should be enough to get you to the dyno.
It would make sense to me to buy the credits on HP Tuners and try to adjust those things in your original PCM... and if we find that we are in over our heads, email the file to ECS and pay the $139 instead of swapping out the entire PCM. No shipping, and you get answers in hours vs days... and if they missed something, emailing the tune and a scan is easier than removing the PCM again.

Good stuff, and it can hold up some high speed
Just painted my rear lower fascia black on the vette and it looks freakin awesome. Do a search on the "plastic dip mod" damn good stuff, a guy painted his thin spoke rims in it and it came out good, all for $20. Danny, we need to get some measurements for the front fender stripes.
