Our rules
All cars must be street legal (and Corvettes), meaning it must have current state inspection and insurance. Must have a full interior with both front seats.
track rules
All Hallsville Raceway Track Rules and Guidelines apply and the vehicle must pass a technical inspection by the track technicians. Any person without the proper safety equipment for their speed during competition will be automatically disqualified. Rules enforcement will be at the Track's discression, not XCCT's. If you have any questions about the tracks rules and guidelines please call them at (903) 668-2858 or (940)382-2709 please visit their web site at http://www.voy.com/16212/.
Ok I follow rules have two seats at about 50lbs each and a cage at 70-80 LBS. The other guy doesn't, that a lot nof weight to make up for. Track wants to be nice. Just my o2 maybe needs to be set in stone.
You make a good point. Historically the track has been lenient on the rules. Let me think about it and hudle with the gang and I will post a reply here.
OK, what you have pointed out does make sense so we are going to append the rule for the seats. The rule will be modified asd follows:
"All cars must be street legal (and Corvettes), meaning it must have current state inspection and insurance. Must have a full interior with both front seats. You may run with only one front seat if you are running a 5 pt. rollbar or greater."
This should help even the playing field out weight-wise for those that have spent the effort on a legal bar.
