I believe I have a scammer on my hands. I had reached out about a set of coilovers for a C8 and was contacted by “Tyrese Smiths” with the below email address and phone. When pressed about details and car setup for the suspension they replied using ChatGPT…. I’m new to this forum and had no idea how bad the scamming is these days.

When pressed about details and car setup for the suspension they replied using ChatGPT…. I’m new to this forum and had no idea how bad the scamming is these days.

I replied to a for sale post, they responded - but I noted they're not the original person who listed the part for sale. I also realized that the part was already sold per a duplicate thread by the original person listing the part.
I googled their telephone #, +17202952641, and found this thread. Their # was listed.
