wow
corvette garage was the supplier of mine too when I had that issue.
however they also sent me the replacements which worked, and it was just two of them and I got 4 in total

If your TPMS performance remains nominal, it sounds like your problem is solved.

yeah, whatever generic units they are selling are duds or at least a portion of them are. I feel like they were somewhat deceptive with their advertising of them by calling them “GM” sensors. I should have spent my money with a reputable parts dealer.

yeah the guy definitely told me numerous times they were GM brand new sensors also, but clearly didn't work for crap.
fortunately the two new ones did and I've had no issues since then, but still.

The plot thickens...I also bought my TPMS sensors from Corvette Garage (on Ebay)...so it seems this vendor is selling flakey sensors....
The part number marked on the Corvette Garage sensors was "13598775", but the plastics bags they came in had no markings, or GM logos. I guess these are knock-offs or 2nd quality units.

What was the part number on the GM branded part sensor that you bought? Was the plastic bag marked/branded?

So, I will go and have that one sensor in the front right wheel replaced, with a genuine GM one.

Indeed the plot thickens haha. Yes there is no doubt corvette garage is selling Temu versions.

Like you said the bag from corvette garage was just blank, a plain plastic bag with no markings. And this is what made me suspicious.

The top bag in the pic is the sensor bag and the bottom bag is the valve stem nut. They are 2 different part numbers and bought these from Summit Racing. Also the GM ones from Summit said Schrader on the back of them. The ones from Corvette garage do not.

The corvette garage advertised part number “13598775” sensors are absolutely 100% not GM genuine Schrader sensors.

So, after figuring out how to find a date-code on the TPMS sensor, I looked back at photos I took of the sensors I bought from Corvette Garage (May 2025), and they are GM sensors made by Schrader, but the date code is 2015......so stupid me installed four 11 year old sensors with my new tires and wheels....

The Date code is printed on the black plastic side edge of the sensor, white ink, formated:

GM sensor:
xxyyy CCCCCCCC
13598775

Schrader replacement sensor:
xxyyy CCCCCCCC
20223/3033

the "xx" is the year ("26" = 2026)
"yyy" is the day of the year (1 to 365)
"CCCCCCCC" is the unique ID number of that sensor, that gets learned to the TPMS system
"13598775" is the GM part number on a GM labeled sensor.
"20223/3033" is the Schrader part number for the replacement sensor

So, lesson learned, don't try to save money, just buy the sensors from a GM dealer, and check the date-code before installing them.

I never knew they had date codes. Good find. I got mine from Rock auto and it worked fine, but I would have checked the date code had I known there was one. Good info. I remembered I kept the box from one I installed last year. The date code is actually on the box. 12/04/2024. So mine was just a few months old having purchased from Rock Auto early April/2025. Not bad. I didn't have any problem with it as you would expect.

Did new GM sensors fix your issue?

As many have discussed, I also have a TPMS Sensor indicator for the Passenger Front wheel which comes on intermittently and resets a few miles later. During a 120 mile run yesterday, it went on/off a total of six times.
When I purchased my 2014 C7 Corvette, I also purchased an extra set of factory rims and tires which were take-offs from another customer who replaced them with aftermarket rims and tires. The TPMS sensor always loses connection with the Passenger Front on all the front 18" factory rims. No other tire position is affected.

The symptom started about 2016 when I was on a trip, and was very intermittent for about 3 years (very seldom happened.)

Over the past couple of years I would estimate the TPMS for the Passenger Front wheel is on about 20% of the time then resets
As I have a spare set of wheels and tires, I have swapped all (4) front tires from side to side. The TPMS indicator always indicates the Zero Pressure is at the Passenger Front.
The BCM cuts power when I am in a sharp corner as it believes the car has a flat tire.

The Local Dealer and I have been working through possible solutions to include:
1) Rotating and swapping tires
2) Replacement of the GM Parts | Part# 84429916 Low Tire Pressure Indicator Module #22923527
3) I had all (4) TPMS Sensors replaced by a local tire shop at the same time.

Please let me know if anyone has any solution to this problem. It is driving me nuts, and it's not a long drive.

New wrinkle today. I made a service appointment with my local dealer for the TPMS sensor errors. Before drop off, i drove it back and forth, never going more than two miles from the dealership until the TPMS light came on. Pulled it into the dealer service bay, and the advisor was able to pull a few codes before it reset.

I don’t have the exact errors, but it was something to do with a comm timeout error between the BCM and several modules including the TPMS receiver. I’ll post more when I get an update if they can figure out what is causing the fault. At least i have a direction now, it was very frustrating with the intermittent problem.

FYI: a thin sheet of aluminum foil or any metal will block a RF signal. Thickness is not an issue.

Have you ever seen a RF screen room? (These rooms block all RF signals, in or out). The walls are made of a thin fine screen material, you can literally 'see' thru them!

I have the same BCM DTC codes when my front right sensor signal is intermittent.
Every so often (actually the BCM checks after so-many revolutions of the wheels) if the BCM has gotten a pressure signal from each of the TPMS sensors. If too many wheel revolutions have occurred, and no signal has been received from each pressure sensor, this "Time Out" DTC code is set in the BCM, the TPMS trouble warning is illuminated, and then the Traction Control and Active Handling intervention limits are lowered.
