Tank all buttoned up. Still have to wire the fuel pump, but I’ll do that once the engine is installed.

These will be recovered in black with silver inserts and the ‘64 nose emblem embroidered in the head rest. They also allow me to use silver four point belts with the shoulder harness attached to the roll bar.

I dropped the front bumpers, brackets, grill, trim and BB hood grills off for matte black powder coating. Should be ready next week and I’ll drop off the rear brackets and rocker trim.

I didn’t remember the original tank filler neck being this far off center? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I thought my original bellhousing was painted black. Turned out it was just 55 years of grease and crud. She sparkles now!

Rear Wilwood caliper on my coupe gravity bleeding. The inside bleeder is complete, the outside still has air.

But to completely bleed them, I removed them and hung them vertically. I bench bled the mc on the car and then gravity bled the entire system which is completely new from the mc to the brake lines to the calipers.

No so bad and still fully functional. I had to release the straps in order to get the last filler neck screws installed and torqued. That was a bear.

Sometimes it’s the little things that slow you down. I don’t have VC gaskets! I added them to my Summit order along with black wires, a black distributor cap, thermostat and plain aluminum water neck.

Once the diff arrives from Currie I can install it in the housing and Jack the entire assembly in place, set my pinion angle, check clearances and weld the new pinion mount in place. The cradle uses a Heim end here and two more that mount to a bracket I will weld to crossmember #4 once everything is in place.
