This is how it currently sits, and ironically after many years it’s turn key right now

When I first built it before it was painted. Hadn’t made the air pan yet for the aero hood scoop so I slapped some boat scoop on I had laying around.
Not ideal but I was trying to last minute make it to a race as usual.

This is the car. I did all the fabrication including building the hedders and exhaust + chassis and roll cage which is certified to 8.50
The body and doors are steel, the front clip is bolt together fiberglass to give it more of a stock look

You had to do a lot of one off stuff back in the day if you wanted to have an edge on your competition

This is the race engine
The hole in the passenger valve cover was for the vacuum pump missing in this picture, and I never ran a alternator, but will need to on the street deal

Some pictures of my younger years heavily involved with other serious gear heads. I built this 4.500 bore 3.5” stroke (I think it was around 445 cubic inches)big block with seriously modified 24 degree heads 17 to1 compression, dry sump, sheet metal intake, split dominators before you could buy them that way (it took me about a week to figure out and build the throttle linkage)that made 980 horsepower

This is before it was painted blue, and it has a pro stock style hood scoop now instead of the aluminum boat thing on it in the picture

T&D did the rockers, and rocker stands, then I made the tie bars, and welded all of the stands together so they are one solid piece, and won’t pull out of the heads with 350 plus on the seats, and around 1100 pounds open with a 9200 rpm shift point

Made the transmission pan headers, slip on collectors, and 5” diameter mufflers, plus fabrication of a transmission cross member to clear the huge exhaust. Modified the dry sump pan to work in a Camaro

There are too many hand made parts on most builds to count. I made the mid plate, cut out the front main cross member to clear the dry sump pan, and plated/boxed it with sheet metal. Built the roll cage and relay panel on the firewall

It runs 8.30s at 164 the way it sits now or at least it did the last time I drove it.
It’s currently in turn key condition, but not street able at all in its current trim.
17.2 to 1 compression and almost 1” if lift at the valve it’s pretty high strung
