If you’re an American worried about the price tag of the new Z06, it could be a lot worse, like $42,000 worse.

The 2015 Corvette Z06 hasn’t even hit the streets yet, but Hennessey is ready to give it 1,000 horsepower.

An eyewitness claims the ‘Vette spun out of control and took another vehicle with it through a cable-wire median, shredding the vehicle to the point where the cable almost came through the driver’s seat.

The C7 Corvette Z06 with its $78,995 price tag is set to take on the world and pretty much kick ass. I can’t wait.

It appears the new Z06 is going to come in as the heaviest Corvette ever at 3,524 lbs. for the coupe. Compare that with 3,175 lbs. for the 2013 Z06. That’s a difference of 349 lbs.
