Corvette Gets Safety Head with New GM Appointment

The fallout over criticism that General Motors failed to address some safety issues has ushered in a new chief that will oversee global safety for Chevrolet and the carmaker’s other brands. Jeff Boyer has been appointed Vice President Global Vehicle Safety, a newly created position, as GM comes under fire for claims it failed to address issues with faulty ignition switches in over a million compact cars.
