RadWood Celebrates the C3s and C4s of the '80s and '90s

Totally tubular C3s and C4s get their own wicked event.

Polish up those Carrera Sunglasses and get your Members Only jacket cleaned and pressed! RadWood is here to celebrate the boxy, colorful years of cars and fashion.

Sprung from the minds of Driving While Awesome!, the Cammed & Tubbed Podcast, and Clutchkick Podcast, the RadWood get-together aims to create an event that revels in the last years of the 20th century. The goal is to have an event where not only the cars are from the ’80s and ’90s, but much like the Goodwood Revival, the music, fashion, and everything else is retro to match.

The plan is to make the show exclusively cater to cars from 1980-1999, and to celebrate all the sub genres that were popular at the time. As the organizers put it: “Whether you love Minitrucks, Lowriders, Euro trash, American Muscle, Sport Compact Cars, Imports, Race Cars, or something else entirely, we want to help put you together with like-minded enthusiasts that will appreciate your ride.”

Surprisingly, there is plenty of vintage Corvette gear on eBay and Etsy still in good shape. Or just be like Mike, and rock a Kangol hat and matching track suit. Or, if you’re like us, just dig down to the clothes you seldom wear at the back of the closet and you’re good to go.

RadWood is happening June 3 at Brisbane Marina in Brisbane, California from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Breakfast snacks will be provided, but you have to buy your own lunch. You can find all the details at RadWood‘s site.

Just think, a whole show of boxy, angular Porsche 944s, Toyota MR2s, Mazda RX-7s, Dodge Charger 2.2 turbos, and C3 and C4 Corvettes!
