C5 Convertible Widebody on D2FORGED CV2 Colormatched Wheels

Here’s some eyecandy from our friends at D2FORGED who hit us up on twitter yesterday to share these pics of a Pewter C5 Corvette Convertible riding on their CV2 concave wheels. I’ve always maintained that the wheels guys have the best photos and D2FORGED doesn’t let us down with their latest photoset. The CV2 concave

Vettes for Vets

Larry Jewett

Vettes for Vets is an annual, all-Corvette car show organized to honor the hard work and dedication military veterans have committed to our country. On Sunday, May 26, the general public can enjoy a free Corvette car show in the parking lot behind the museum and free museum admission for all veterans. All visitors will enjoy our new exhibit Elegance in Motion: Cars of the Golden Age, which opens May 25.
Vettes for Vets will be a great day of sunshine and memorial for our veterans who will enjoy raffle prizes, food trucks coordinated by Sacto MoFo, and awesome tunes. Corvette owners can pre-register for only $10  and $15 at the gate. Call (916) 442-6802 or visit Calautomuseum.org for more Car Show registration details.
The mission of the California Automobile Museum is to preserve, exhibit, and teach the story of the automobile and its influence on our lives. The California Automobile Museum in Sacramento is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and until 9:00pm every third Thursday of the month.
This event is sponsored by Performance Chevrolet

Like we haven’t seen this happen before. Corvette driver decides to show off while leaving a car gathering and all hell brakes loose. At least we know the windshield wipers work. The driver throws the Corvette into a burnout while pulling out of a parking lot but ends up spinning around and facing the way

Long Beach Grand Prix as Experienced by CF Members

As automotive journalists, we know how lucky we are to have this job. We get invited to races, previews, ride-and-drives, etc… But as Corvette Forum journalists we’re extremely fortunate to write for such a large, active, enthusiastic community. Writing about the Vette sure beats writing about the latest Toyota Camry (ooh! a new cupholder!). And […] More »
