It’s the middle of May and that means its time for the annual Corvette Beach Caravan and Car Show. For the last 33 years, Dorthan, Alabama’s Circle City Corvette club caravans down to Panama City Beach, Florida for a weekend of Corvette fun and camaraderie. We want to take a moment to congratulate CF member YELLO1 for winning May’s C5 Corvette of the Month honors amidst some tough competition. YELLO1’s gorgeous, customized Millenium Yellow Coupe defeated two other coupes and a Z06 in a gallery competition for the award.

Vettes for Vets is an annual, all-Corvette car show organized to honor the hard work and dedication military veterans have committed to our country. On Sunday, May 26, the general public can enjoy a free Corvette car show in the parking lot behind the museum and free museum admission for all veterans. All visitors will enjoy our new exhibit Elegance in Motion: Cars of the Golden Age, which opens May 25.
Vettes for Vets will be a great day of sunshine and memorial for our veterans who will enjoy raffle prizes, food trucks coordinated by Sacto MoFo, and awesome tunes. Like we haven’t seen this happen before. Corvette driver decides to show off while leaving a car gathering and all hell brakes loose. At least we know the windshield wipers work. The driver throws the Corvette into a burnout while pulling out of a parking lot but ends up spinning around and facing the way
