Corvette & Fireworks on the 4th of July: The Most American Thing Ever

What could possibly go wrong?

I think we can all agree that if you Google “American Sports Car,” the Corvette would be at the top of the list. Owning a Corvette is one of the most American things you can do, but it’s not the absolute ultimate. YouTuber phrenetiK outdid himself buy attaching bootleg fireworks (Roman Candles) to his C7 on the 4th of July.

Before the festivities began he stopped by the gas station to fill up his Corvette. He explains why he puts the fuel nozzle upside down while filling up because of the weird way the airlock works. For whatever reason, the pump would stop flowing when used in the upright position. Simply inserting the nozzle upside down is the easy fix for this.

After the fuel stop, he goes to his buddy Chuck’s house to rig the Roman candles to the exhaust tips for the most American 4th of July celebration of all time. Once all was said and done, he takes a shot of whiskey (PLEASE DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE), lights the fireworks, and does a proper launch in the C7 all while the American flag waves in the wind.

American flag waving, fireworks, and a V8 roaring on the 4th of July. Can you get more American than that? Let us know on the forum!
