Corvette of the Week: Sfc Rick’s C5!

Congratulations to Corvette of the Week winner, Sfc Rick!

Sfc Rick is the proud owner of this Arctic White C5. Proud not only because his Corvette is gorgeous, but primarily because he’s done the majority of the work himself! That’s right, he executed most of the paint, interior mods and engine work right there in his own garage. His C5 sports Vararam Induction, Power Duct, Ported Throttle Body, Z06 manifold, LG Street Headers and X-Pipe, Texas Speed and Performance 228R Cam with PAC Beehive Valve springs.

It also includes a Texas Speed and Performance Tune, 806 heads with 5 angle valve job and a little mill by Faerman’s in Houston, TX. C6 Z06 Clutch, Pressure Plate, Flywheel and LS6 hydraulics. Not enough? OK well, he recently installed a Vortech supercharger (check out the build here). He’s now putting out about 525 HP at the wheels! Good thing the suspension and brakes are also upgraded!

But Sfc Rick isn’t all go and no show, just check out the graphics and body mods… L5 rear fenders, API rear spoiler, ZR2 hood, Torch Red Interior accents, complete interior color change, Sparco Torino seats, DVD/Nav Kenwood 5160, T3 12″ Sub woofer, 1200 watt Powerbass amp. Custom painted instrument cluster and console. Rollbar, “Finishline” checkered flag themed shift and brake boots. Most importantly, the C5 is equipped with FUZZY DICE.
