Glendale, Arizona is (here comes the car pun) gearing up for the return of Mecum Auctions Glendale 2025. Once again being held at State Farm Stadium, Mecum estimates that 2,000 vehicles will cross the auction block between March 18 and 22. You know the drill. A wide range of insanely rare classics, the hottest new restomods, and the most expensive collector cars on the market.

But this event isn’t just for adults.

That’s right, following its debut at Mecum Kissimmee early this year, Mecum plans to host The Adventure Zone, offering a range of automotive-themed activities for children. The interactive area will include a Power Wheels course, car cutouts, coloring contests, slot car racing, and even a hands-on opportunity for kids to paint their own miniature cars. With new, larger Power Wheels available, older children can also put their driving skills to the test.

So bring the kiddos along. Help them fall in love with car collecting. And pick yourself up a fine piece of American muscle.

For those who aren’t just interested in Corvettes, Mecum Glendale will also showcase a lineup of stunning exotics, including Ferraris, McLarens, and Maseratis. Among the highlights is a rare 2023 Ferrari 812 Competizione—one of just 999 produced—as well as a 2022 Ferrari 812 GTS with a specially ordered color combination. Fans of McLaren’s supercars will be drawn to a 2016 McLaren 675LT Spider, painted in Volcano Red, which has logged just 830 miles.

Lastly, for those who also bleed Ford blue, one of the standout vehicles on the auction block is a custom-built 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback, designed for the SEMA show. Nicknamed “The Real Thing,” this powerhouse was crafted by Bodie Stroud of BS Industries and features a 494 CI Boss Can-Am aluminum-block V-8 engine—one of only 10 built for Mario Andretti’s M6B McLaren Can-Am racer. The car generates an astonishing 777.5 horsepower at 7,000 RPM and is paired with a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission, offering a perfect fusion of muscle and cutting-edge race technology.
