OPTIMA Presents How-To Tuesday: No Garage? No Problem for Your Corvette

Car Under Cover

Not all of us Corvette owners have the luxury of making our cars garage babies. We can beg and plead a neighbor, pay for some covered parking somewhere, or just leave it to the elements. But what other options are there if none of the above (except for the garage) sound like a reasonable option for one reason or another?

To answer that question I point you in the direction of this article. Once again, our how-to writers here at Corvette Forum have come to the rescue and have done all the research for you. Mr. Scott Deuty has gone through four of the leading car cover manufacturers on the market. He has compared all of the features that each one claims for their product. He has even gone a step farther to walk us through various pricing, rankings, sizing, and warranties.

Depending on the climate and weather you are trying to help your car avoid, there will likely be a particular cover you’ll be drawn to. Before reading the article, I thought a car cover was a car cover. I had very little understanding of the different options and protection levels available to the consumer. Clearly the best option is a garage, but for those of us without that option, now we can make an informed decision on which Corvette cover will be best for us.
