Which Corvette Generation Was Your First?
In an interesting poll on our forums, it was asked what was your first Corvette, and after a few years and 377 votes, we can see some pretty clear results. Perhaps age of the owner has something to do with it, but the C6 is the clear winner as most owner’s first Corvette. C3 and C4 were very close behind, with the C5 dropping behind a surprising amount.
Does that mean the demographic of the Corvette owner has changed? That’s left to be argued, but what’s evident is that the newer the Corvette, the more likely it is to be someone’s first foray into this exclusive club. Although, we had another poll asking what you owned before buying a C7, and a large amount graduated from the C6 into the C7.
Those whose first cars were older than the C4 vintage tend to keep their cars longer though, or wind up with more than just one. Study our polls as long as you wish, but it looks like Corvette owners all have a very unique story!
