could you use velcro to tighten up the carpet?
Nice clean install, btw.
Did mine myself and will probably clean it up more later down the line.

Just to show the waves in the carpet ... very minor and I will work on after I decide if I am going to stick with one amp (can you? - lol).

I use the same amp to drive my 12, trust me 200rms at 1 channel when matched with a 4ohm sub will rock!

Matt -- when I said another amp -- I meant amp #2 to drive my Component Set Up if I go that route.
I am very happy with the thump I get now from the PUNCH ... pow biff bam.

Update:
I have now added the 3.5" Alpines SPS-080A in my doors and I added Infinity Reference 6012si 6.5" rear speakers.
If you can only afford one -- do the 3.5" because the way the sub is rigged through the FADER there is not much gained by that speaker add on.
However, there are much better highs with the Alpines over the stock Bose. Let's say noticable but not dramatic -- just better.
I am done with the stereo now ... it is where I want it to be until I swap out a head unit and go component.

It was worth it for sure. Alpines were sub $50 and Infinities we about $60.
The Sub Woofer in the box is so tight that it forces the whole car to be part of the woofer and so you feel the bass very well.
I think for everything installed I am around $500 total. My tunes are 10 times stock now.
So yes ... I would do it again.
Now I am just waiting on my Corsa Pace Car with Tigershark Tips to round out all the audible pluses to this car.
