Torch Red 2001 Corvette

Car Computer:

* Revolution Systems Innovado Mobillo Car PC

Monitor:

* Flip-out K301 Touch-Screen LCD VGA via USB Port

JL Audio:

* (1) 1000/1 Amplifier
* (2) 12W6v2 Subwoofers
* (2) 300/4 Amplifiers
* (2) 8W3v2 Subwoofers
* (1 set) XR653-CS 3 way components

Alpine (Equalization and Time-Alignment):

* PXA-H701 Multimedia Manager
* RUX-C701 Controller

Sound Deadening (200lbs):

* B-Quiet Ultimate
* B-Quiet Vcomp Foam

Wiring:

* Fiber Optic TOSLINK Cable
* (3) 2 channel RCA cables
* 0 AWG power wire
* 4 AWG power wire
* 8 AWG power wire
* Speaker Wire

Summary:

The Mobillo PC feeds the audio signal via an optical output (no audio loss to interference) to the Alpine Multimedia Manager. The Alpine unit distributes the signal to 3 seperate JL Audio amplifiers.

The amplifiers power a 5-way (10 speaker) audio system consisting of:

- Three sperate drivers PER door (1" tweeter, 4" midrange, 6.5" midbass)

- Two 8" 8w3v2 subwoofer

- Two 12" 12w6v2 subwoofers

Also, we went through a few hundred pound of B-Quiet Ultimate in the process of putting this system together.

The monitor in the front console is a K301 touchscreen VGA USB monitor; it has 2 composite (RCA) inputs, and (1) rear view camera composite. It is motorized, and so far has been working great. We have been VERY pleased with the visual quality of this unit.

System Cost (All equipment, supplies and tools): $9,000
