head unit swap
is the wiring the same in all C6cars for radio..i have standard head unit no nav..would like to by a factory nav unit from online and install..anywhere to find what that entails..thanks

This comes up a lot in the C6 general section. I would advise either doing a search or posting this in the C6 general section for help. A few guys have done this but don't really visit the audio section.

From what I understand it's not too difficult to do and it's mostly plug and play except for a few minor things you need to address. Like maybe adding a GPS antenna and having a used nav unit unlocked by a dealership. Just to warn you, I had the factory navigation head unit and hated it. It's not user friendly, has horrible dated graphics, and lackluster features and sound quality. I replaced it with an aftermarket unit and was so pleased I did. But many like to stay with OEM, so I'm not trying to discourage you. Good luck.
