Also what do you guys suggest for sound deadening? is any of the amazon stuff any count? I can tell im going to need it already. Probably should have just did it while everything was apart. I think I have everything pretty well dialed now but still sounds a little flatter than I'd like. I know the sub will help but I think i need to add some deadener. If nothing else maybe just in the doors.
Since you are trying to stay within a budget, if you are handy at all, I would suggest building your own box with some birch plywood and carpet it. It's not very difficult to do. Here are 2 examples of my boxes. Started out with a shallow 10" then built the bigger box to hold a JL 10W6v3. Side cubbies come in handy for storage also.
Is that a ported sub or closed? I am sure now that I bit that apple, I will be looking to replace the amp and speakers and put a sub there. I Like that install and the storage on the sides is a nice bonus, wonder how two subs perhaps smaller behind each seat would be and a storage unit in the middle?

Hey Sandman, the box I built is a closed enclosure. The cubbies do come in handy. The one on the driver side would be ideal to hold and hide the amp, although my Morel 5 channel amp is a little longer than most and doesn't fit. The passenger side cubby is easy to reach for small storage items. This was my first sub box build. I thought it turned out great. Here is my build thread that I started when I was building it.
