James you paint looks great. Sometime back you had questions about that subject. Could you please fill us in with what you decided. You know me I want soup to nuts!

I did have questions on what to use on the interior parts. I have not done anything for the interior parts.
The outside paint is matrix paints. The painter decided on what he wanted to use and I gave him the okay.
Under the dash (heater and wipers) , rocker panel moulding, deck lid and glove box molding, dash pad, sound deadeners and doors. I am hoping I have everything for the doors.
I left the gas tank cover only partly on since I am not sure if I will have a problem with leaking or not.
Also, does the gas tank ground come from the dash harness or do I need to run a separate line for it? I do not have a dash harness yet.
I think I do though will not know for sure until I get the doors completely installed.
last night, I installed the grill moldings and the grill.
2025 c3 ('68-'73) of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
Sounds like you have a good game plan in place. Sorry I can't help out with the gas tank ground.
Slow but sure is a good thing while putting these projects back together. I've had my '71 for 14 years now and am still working on it and didn't even come close to the magnitude of your '62!
I'll be working on the '66 for years! It's all fun.
The steal an old fishing phrase "a bad day in the garage working on the vette is better than a great day at work!"

Keep us posted on the progress.
yeah, in the meantime, I hope I do not get a devorce. My wife is getting jealous...

The gas tank sending unit grounds through the taillight harness at the rear of the trunk; run a dedicated ground wire to the frame now, while you have it apart and have good access.
More work completed. The the glove box lock and hinge, deck lid, cowl, hood releases, door locks and door releases working. Now, working on the doors and the dash area.
Installed the passenger rocker panels. The doors are almost complete need a driver large access panel and the seal kit for the doors. Installed the wiper motor.
