James - you may as well leave that fresh air hose off until nearly the last thing....its in the way for almost everything else you do in the engine compartment. What am I looking at on the master cylinder there...can't quite figure it out ??

MP dual master brake. I did not put the mc onto it. I can take off the fresh air hose easily.
Looking good!It hard to believe it's almost been a year since my 62 looked that way.It was really a learning experience but well worth the praise you get when the cars done.
How did you repair all the screw holes in the doors? Any close up photos of that area?
I did not do any repairs to the screw holes in the doors. If someone did it was the person who did the bodywork. Are you talking about where the inner metal garnish mounts to the doors? These holes were fine for the tiny screws.
The access door plate holes... I had one which would not go in so I just put some epoxy to hold the screw in. It was was on the large access plate so one screw was not going to make any difference. The rest of the holes were not stripped.
I have not tried the door panels yet to see if these holes are okay.
This weekend, I am going attempt to paint the interior console once more with the correct paint. I bought the paint and own a gravity feed sprayer. This way, all of the dash components can be completed and installed. Hopefully, it will turn out nice.
