There isn't much not to like about this interestingly optioned, low-mile 1963 Corvette.

Would be very rare to have Knock-Offs as a fitted option RPO P48 in 63 ….

How come all of these supposedly perfect original 63 all have knock offs? When we know they were not produced from the factory that way. And where is the Vin tag and Trim tag and the engine block numbers? I have looked at about a dozen 63 split window coupe that either the Vin tag or the engine block numbers have been modified. It’s very hard to find a very good original split window coupe these days.

Love it!
Beautiful car! Saddle/saddle happens to be my favorite color combo for '63.
Regarding the wheels, according to an acquaintance who has a '63 SWC--along with 12 other Vettes!--in 1963 the knock-off wheels originally only had two "spokes" on the center locking nut. Early buyers complained that it was too difficult to remove/install the wheels with only two spokes because they kept hitting the wheel and/or fender trying to tighten them. So at some point during the production year the wheel centers were changed to three-spoke. His '63 has a set of the two-spoke centers, which he claims are very rare and extremely pricey if found.

The two bar spinners were first used on the Dayton wire wheel option for '63-'63 Corvair. The same spinner was on the drawing for the Corvette wheel in the spring of '62 but replaced by the three bar design, I believe in July/August of 1962. I believe it's safe to say that Corvette customer complaints had nothing to do with two bar vs three bar part release.
The two bar spinners really have little value except for those that have a Corvair with wire wheels or those that drink the Corvette two bar spinner Kool-Aid.

In a search, this is the only tan SWC I’m seeing there now:

What is the distinction in a Corvette "Sports", vs. any other Corvette?

One thing not to like is the profoundly boring beige color. Maybe Chevy was trying to appeal to women buyers back then.

In this case, it seems the word “sports’ is used as a verb meaning “ has” or “wears.” i.e. “in this photo my son sports his new baseball hat.”
The title refers to the car having original paint (“sports original paint.”)

It's been said that the color of your car is a reflection of your personality.

There’s no way that’s original paint. Maybe a lacquer respray the first time the body came off. BAT says no records before 1989.

I fully agree. The GM tans, golds, and beige's of this era in lacquer faded out to chalkboard flat within 5 years. No way is that original paint.

Never claimed it to be original paint. However, it is original color, painted 18 months ago, and restored to its original condition. Numbers matching drivetrain, 327/365 HP, this notwithstandibg the fact the paint looks better than it did in April 1964.
