Fuel Injection Percolation Issue Improvements

There are lots of options. Just lookup cold start injector in google. This is a VW one I used to use to add more fuel to my turbo setup before we had computers that could do the job. It's a banjo fitting one.

Interesting device. I didn't know there was such a thing.
From the application, they appear to be low duty cycle devices: Enable, start engine, disable. It's not clear they would serve well in a PWM application.
And, lordy, they are expensive! One for an '85 Corvette listed for over $800!!!

Luckily there are other ones.ebay cold start injector
Anyway, I'm impressed with all the work and research done to capture data to understand the issues. I'm a big believer in data over speculation.
I'm still leaning to the idea of cocooning the area and having some heat extraction method. Maybe a very small centrifugal fan feeding cool air into a small diameter tube and some exhaust to carry away the heated air. Once again, I'm not seeing this firsthand. I'm sure you'll beat this. Carry on!
If someone wants to try the furnace insulation I have and instrument the results, I will provide it for free. Just PM me.

As far as cocooning the spider area, anything which limits or reduces the heat picked up by the spider is a Real Good Thing.
