I'd rather have something with actual power it is a corvette, a convertible hey like I said it's a CORVETTE, something that looks good, attracts attention, goes up in value.

Looks like you've some interest based on the questions asked, so just be patient. It's a sharp car and would be a great driver/first Vette for someone .

You had 3 vettes right?

If I remember you had pics of them all lined up tin the street. The green one here really caught my eye as a nice looking vette. Im sure if you advertise it right, it will go.

Brent....

Thanks Brent I hate to just give it away. I mean I am not desperate for money, I need room. I feel sad but I am hoping for 5K for it. It is an awesome car, that needs the rear differencial

Kara:

I was surprised to see you live in Wichita Falls. I've been here for 33 years.

Have you contacted any members in the Wichita County Corvette Association about your car? If you still have it in September, you may want to bring it out to the Corvette Roundup at Easley Chevrolet. Corvette owners from all over will be here.

Also another thought. You might contact jeff Coley. His number is in the phone book. He produces the local World of Wheels and knows lots of local car people. He also buys/trades lots of cars.

Wish I had known you had an 80 for sale. I would have like to have looked at it.

Feel free to get in touch with me sometime. W.Falls doesn't sux too much if you turn your watch back 20 years.

5K!! I would have bought it for that. O well. By the way your "hope" has become a reality and more. Its at $6,600. This is why I love Ebay, you get more money than what you'd expect.

Good luck - sorry you have to get rid of it.

I've never sold anything in my life - and, most of it is sitting on the living room floor from the looks of it!

Kara, I don't understand why you're so surprised. The car looks good and shows well. If all that is needed is a differential, that can be a fairly easy job for someone to replace. It can aslo be a tough if the cross member doesn't cooperate.
There are people out there that like the style of the car. The only knock is that it does not have the high horsepower numbers. They turn heads just as easy as earlier C3's.
Good luck! It's at $6600 with a day and a half remaining.
