The 406 is getting close......I'm psyched!

It does look like an aluminum block, if the freeze out plugs were natural it would have been more convincing. Good luck with it, should be a strong runner.

The paint is actually aluminum...does that count?
The 406 has the same AFR 195's,10.1:1 cr as before, but this time with a Vic Jr intake and Isky solid cam and 1.60 roller rockers. The cam has 254/254@.050 and lift after lash of 544/544.Should pull to 7000 rpms give or take, but I plan on shifting around 6300 or so just to be safe.If the shareware software is even close to being right it'll pull a 11.8@117 and shows 550 hp. I'll be happy if it hits 520hp.I'm really not into drag racing, but wanted some more top end punch than my old setup, without going too far over board.

If it hits 500HP!!! Those are awesome numbers to be shooting for. I hope you are well pleased with. It sure looks like is should be a rocket. Be sure to keep us posted.
I was wanting around 300-350 RWHP, I fell quite a few short. Oh well, there is always next time.
