No waves from C5 or C6

Yeah, this comes up every now and again, and I really used to be in the "C4,C5 and I suppose C6 Vette owners are snobs" camp. but you know what, I think there are just too many variiables and possible explanations to paint a group of people with such a broad brush.
I was out driving last week trying to diagnose my valvetrain noise...(thinking I had it fixed) and in the 5 miles I drove I passed 3 C3's , 1 C4 and a C6...not a single C3 waved even though they looked right at me on the 2 lane residential street we were on...I'm not entirely sure the C4 saw me (I waved - he didnt) and the C6 driver initiated the wave and I responded.
If I used that to base my decision on I would say that C3 owners are stuck up car collectors that percieve their classic to be superior than any other vette on the road and didnt wave to me because my car was nicer and they felt threatened.
By the way that was probably the most C3's I've seen in a single day in a very long time...though there are at least a half dozen within 4 miles of my house.
So I think its probably just as likely that a C3 owner wont wave as a C5 or 6...of course unless its not..
Frankly, I cant be bothered to care anymore.

Waves
We own a '71, '00, and now '06. All verts... We wave constantly and even sometimes when I am not driving one of the Vettes... I find that some wave, some don't... 
I don't let it bother me though, besides, I AM driving a Corvette!!!
