haha no civic. I replaced my plug wires, cap, rotor, plugs, etc. I'm going to have the exhaust done this week hopefully, so new cat, etc. do you really get 13-15? Is there any way to get better milage?
what I have on my car to help me with mpg is an underdrive pulley , electric fan (took out the mechanical fan), new Q-jet, msd 6AL ignition, K&N filter, new distribiutor cap etc. + wires and removed weight from the car to make it lighter = less work on the engine Before this I used to pay $20 a week for gas after all this it was like $11 a week

I have one of those, where as DesertDawg's car has 2 sets. I am running a single 4 barrel throttle body injection vs. the dual 2 barrel on the cross fire.
With a 700R4, 3.73 gears and the a/c running I got 20 - 23 MPG on my trip from Arizona to Bowling Green. That was running at around 80 MPH pulling a small trailer.
So, if you want 23 MPG -- fuel injection and overdrive are the two big keys.
Before the fuel injection with the 700R4 I was getting about 15 MPG ish. I picked up about 1.7 seconds in the 1/4 mile and may have more but now I have more power than traction. Throttle response is enough to snap your neck and put your head into the halo behind the t-tops if your not ready for it.
