WOW i saw this thread and thought nothing of it, now i have read it and can see how ignorant some people can be. TwinTurbo has done things i could only hope to do to his car, and many other people that have posted on here are far, far more skilled on corvettes than i am. This proves my point, if your argue with and idiot he will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience
There is much documented history on making C3 Corvettes go fast. For example it is well documented that even race tuned C3 suspension works best with 27 inch tires. There are a lot folks that take time to help out others without all of the BS. Take some time and wander around the pits at SCCA events watch who wins, look at their setups. You may learn something. It isn't one component that turns a sow's ear into a silk purse it's the whole package. Making the assumption that folks on this board haven't done their homework or don't have the seat time to question your assertions is foolish at best.
It is impossible to explore the limits of performance on the street. PERIOD
Take it to the track in your favorite flavor. Better yet document your ideas, progress, and results posting for all to see.
Measure and record your cars performance as it is today. Put your brakes on repeat the experiment and publish your results....
