I quit 23 years ago before my daughter was born. I quit by still smoking. I heard about quitting by smoking different brands I didn't like. In other words if you are smoking menthol switch to regular or the other way around and only buy 1 pack at a time. No more cartons. You will find yourself not wanting to light up as often and will finally not want to light up at all. It worked for me. If you are smoking say a menthol like Kools, go and buy a pack of Lucky Strike non filter or Camels. That should do the trick. If it is the other way around that will work just as well. Good Luck!!!!
What ever you do. Don't go back to your favorite brand again or all is a waste. Even if it takes you awhile going to different brands of menthol if you are a regular cigarette smoker or regular if you are a menthol cigarette smoker you will not satisfy your taste buds and will put the cigarette out earlier until you finally just give it up with no problem.
