The C3 is one hell of an attention getter. Its definitely got to be the curves and lines on the car. Women just love this car. All I can say is hang on to it forever.
I don't think I can sell my C3 any more, anyways. All the smog crap has been taken off and I live in California!

I'd only sell it to get a chrome bumper, anyways. Probably cost me less to just figure out how to make a chrome bumper fit mine.

29...first vette.

I've had it for almost 2 years and I get alot of attention from Mrs. Robinson.

I have been amazed at the 25-30 somethings that I have bumped into who are getting into the C3's. Besides having the best bodylines they are still affordable. C4's just have too much Don Johnson written all over them...

Woohoooo .... I'm still on the "young" side of the curve ....
fit in the 30-40 for a few more months ... then 41.
I'll need another vette for that mid-life crisis.

My next project car will most likely be a little Triumph GT6. Awesome little cars, they look PERFECT for autocross due to their weight and size. I wonder if there are any Triumph clubs...
Yeah, there's a TR6 club out in El Cajon; they show up at just about every single Cruisin' El Cajon show on Wed. nights when they start up.

They are some sweet little cars to work on, and the SU carbs are actually very performance worthy for racing (although a lot of guys will switch them out to Webers to prevent fuel starvation on hard cornering)...If you go for a TR6, good luck, man!!

I can relate. I stayed 17 for about 17 years which of course makes me only 41 now. Of course there is more than my drivers license to say otherwise. But I have more hair than a lot of 40 year olds, and less gray than most. It's the belly and the way I move that gives it away.

I have had my 71 for 28 years. I have had three other vettes -66 bbvert, 68 bb vert, 74 sb coupe

I kinda like the looks of the GT6 Mk1, personally. Either that or the little Spitfire, they've got a little bit of the Porsche look but not quite. I like that super simple 2L I6 the GT6 has. I was on one website where they're converting their carbs to motorcycle carbs like Mikuni, which my Ninja 500R has. I just want to build a late 60's one up and Auto-x it and **** off the people with new cars all computerized and beat the hell out of them with a car that's nearly 40 years old.
