lmao there you go assuming things and we all know what happens when you assume.

I guess that scares you with your over valued chrome bumper, huh? Reality hurts......it must be hurting you?
I purchased my chrome bumper vert from a fellow forum member cheap before the prices started to jump up and its now in the middle of a frame up restoration that im doing myself. Right now its at the paint shop so I would say its considerably less in value in the as is state.

Go to a typical for sale vette site, and see what I'm talking about. The asking prices are ridiculous for the most part. You will find some however that are properly priced, and they usually sell very fast.
They sell very fast because people know the good deals and bargains of the lot. It can be interpreted both ways.

Im not in it for the money, I picked what I wanted and bought it without crying and whining about the prices people were asking. I found the one I wanted, drove to TX and bought it. I didnt post three times about buying a vette and end up backing out, I didnt promise to send a deposit and back out, I didnt confirm with an owner about a purchase and make driving plans and ask fellow forum members for help along the way and back out. I searched for the price I could afford and felt comfortable spending and when I found the right one I bought it. I didnt make a big production on this website about the is and isnt's of car buying and keep on trying to prove a useless point to everyone about the prices of the cars and further highlighting my failure and insecurities of the one I ended up with.

lmao thanks for the laughs!

Must have hit a nerve.....

You keep attacking? And keep telling lies........once again, I'll speak the truth.

Backed out of first committment with Bamavettes, true. Thought I had my bass boat sold, it fell through, end of story.

The '75 roadster didn't pass inspection......thus no buy.

The '72 454 didn't pass inspection......thus, no buy.

I wasn't going to keep waisting my time when it was quite clear that they were over valued, other than Bama Vettes.

So reality again is, I backed out of one deal. Period. The other offers were pending inspection, which they didn't check out as advertised and pictured.

Please attack some more.......

The 427 and 454 vettes are bringing pretty decent money.....

'68, 1 condition, L-89 427 brought a bid price of 65K, but did not sell.

'69, vert, 1 condition, 427 sold for 52K.

'69, vert, L88 427, 1 condition, brought a bid for 260K, did not sell.

'69 vert, 427, 1 condition, sold for 85k

'69 ttop, 427, 1 condition, sold for 40k

'69ttop, 2 condition, 427, sold for 31k

These are show car condition vettes for the most part!!

Your little squabble is quite entertaining, and I see Green Guy has been following all the things that White Guy has been doing and posting, but... what exactly is the disagreement?

Big block prices are higher. Convertible (no, I won't say 'vert, I won't) prices are higher. Big block + convertible prices are even higher. Of course LT-1 prices are higher. Everyone agrees on this stuff, right?

Chrome bumper small block average coupes usually top out at 15K or less, usually less. Everyone agrees with this unless they have one for sale, right?

And, 74-79 cars are very entry-level priced. Again, the planet agrees, unless again, you have one for sale, or you have an "appraiser" on enough medication to tell you yours is worth $85,000.

So what's the argument again?
