Hi B&AG,
Are you 2 people?
Welcome, first post!
You bought what car? There are at least 2 different cars talked about in this thread.
Have to have some photos to see what you have!
Regards,
Alan
My 77 Corvette was originally sold at Yenko Chevrolet in Pittsburgh. It had a Yenko emblem on rear bumper, and the paperwork I have shows it was sold there. I am no expert, but I think you have to remember that Yenko Chevrolet was a Chevy dealer, and propably sold a full line of Chevy products till they closed. SO, has nothing to do with performance mods.....they were also just a dealer.
Again, Yenko Chevrolet was a dealership in Canonsburg, PA, and they sold Chevy cars, just like any dealer, and stuck a Yenko emblem on the bumper, just like other dealers. It does not have to be a performance mod to be a Yenko.
I have a 81 Turbo Corvette I acquired not long ago that has been in storage for 15 years. Same exact setup as the Duntov customs and Yenko Camaro's, white with red interior. Runs and drives, trying to find history on who might have been involved in these conversions, no luck so far.

You should start a new thread asking your question, rather than attaching it to a thread from 2006.
