Not saying that..but if you can't take the "heat",get out of the kitchen... MODS here are not censoring anyone..they are enforcing forum rules...which are clear for most part and final judgement is up to them...I think they do a good job...and most of us have "violated" some rules...me included..

Why the need to ask?
If its gone there are only two logical explanations.
#1 the database got hosed and it was lost.
#2 It was removed by the Administration which I suspect may soon be the case with this thread as well.

Ill put my money on #2

From what I have seen in the time I have been a member here the administration here is very leaniant.
Try some other forums... the admins/mods are on a huge power trip and try and show their authority every chance they get
So... if the post was removed then I suspect it was for a good reason.......and what hapens?
Somebody has to start a "where did the post go" thread.

Actually I shouldnt even be posting in this thread because it's only adding to the mess it already is.

In my opinion when a thread is removed or locked.......... thats it.
Just let it go.

bob, the need to ask 'where..etc etc' came suddenly from the fact that i was posting in that thread and was an interesting one, then i went to eat my dinner and when i came back there was no thread anymore, then in that very moment i thought i had to ask...but looking at the whole iussue from 24 hours later i'd better go to have a nice afterdinner cruise around the coast with my vette and my wife at my side, instead of starting any thread at all, believe me.

You know why?? I'm saying this and hopefully I wont **** off the forum gods but he recieved a lifetime ban. At least thats what he says. Two sides to every story. I heard this directly from him and without hearing the whole story it does seem a little harsh. Does anyone agree or disagree? This is all I'm gonna say on this matter, I like this forum and need it. Form your own opinions, maybe the mods will chime in,

He e-mailed me a few days ago for some info on the HB plumbing, I sent him a link to the Aeroquip catalog. Yellow didn't use SS lines he used rubber hose.

Hope he is not in banned forever land, he was helping others out.

He seemed like a pretty nice guy. Never rude or hateful in any posts I have read. Good sense of humor. Hope he's not gone for good.

Perhaps you don't have young children and can't imagine the stuff they can see.

The mods are keeping this site clean .. .even if it means "nipping it in the bud".
George and Dave have explained this over and over in threads.
They do not have to justify the censorship, and they have to draw a line somewhere.
The line is somewhere near "suggestive" photos.

His avatar only suggested one thing ... that she should dip down and wash all that paint off.

Haven't logged-on the CF for a few days. I concur with NHvette's comments. If I want **** (which I don't) I'll go someplace else. Durango's post regarding "hot chicks" and his Avitar are innappropriate for this public site. Until the Mods stipulate age 18 to logon, discretion is the word. My opinion. Fire away.....

There's probably more to it than the Avatar. I'm sure mine is offensive to people in places like North Dakota but they're not going to boot me because of it are they? Maybe I should say goodbye right now.

Durango Boy, while sometimes prolific to a fault, seems to be a knowledgeable Corvette guy. We need more of them not less.

I hope whatever happened is fixable.
